Bollywoo3 is bringing the detailed review of Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan's Krish3 movie. Read and enjoy..
Krrish 3, is perhaps one of the most awaited films of 2013. The third installment in this super hero series has been in the making from quite some time now. Starring Hrithik,, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi, this scientific thriller is directed by Rajesh Roshan. Krrish 3 has had a humongous release on the auspicious weekend of Diwali. Let’s figure out how it is.
The third installment showcases Krishna(Hrithik Roshan) happily married to Priya (Priyanka Chopra) and staying with his dad Rohit Verma(Hrithik Roshan). Krishna keeps doing his regular best for the people in the form of Krrish and leads a happy life.
Somewhere else, an evil power Kaal(Vivek Oberoi) is making merry by finding an anti code to a deadly virus which he himself has spread to destroy the world. After successfully creating havoc in other parts of the world, Kaal targets India. He manages to spread the virus successfully with the help of his self crated manvar in Kaaya(Kangana Ranaut).
Hell breaks out loose and soon Mumbai gets affected by this deadly virus. Krrish comes to the rescue and finds out an anti code with the help of his scientist father and saves the city from destruction.
A visibly upset Kaal now kidnaps Rohit and Priya and prepares himself to destroy the entire country. Rest of the story is as to how Krrish fights against all odds and save the entire nation from the evil clutches of Kaal.
Plus Points :
Hrithik Roshan is the only savior in this film. He is pretty good as Krissh, and showcases tremendous screen presence. He plays a double role and does a superb job as Krrish’s father Rohit.
Priyanka Chopra looks apt for her role and does her best. Vivek Oberoi is pretty decent as the evil Kaal. Vivek has this eye for negative characters, and does his best in this one as well.
Some special effects and the fights in the climax will be liked by the kids. Though songs are a big drawback they have been shot well.
Minus Points :
Major drawback of Krrish 3 is its routine story line. The story does not have much depth and is hard to believe in many places. The so called super hero stunts are missing.
The makers have concentrated more on the special effects rather than thrills. Kangana Ranaut’s character has a lot to be desired. Though its starts off good, half way through it loses its way. Tempo in the first 15 minutes of the second half goes down drastically.
Yet another major negative factor is that Krrish 3 remains largely soulless and has no emotional depth. The film is majorly inspired by some Hollywood flick or the other.
A lot of scenes and situations have been unexplained. Climax is also too far stretched and takes for ever to finish.
Technical Aspects :
The first two installments of Krrish, had some awesome music which is majorly missing here. None of the songs are good and hardly register. Salim-Suleman’s background music is just about OK.
Camera work is pretty OK. Where some scenes have been shot well, the others look fake. Mumbai city is showcased a bit too over the top with a lot of sky scrapers.
Major part of the movie is filled with special effects. Some of the effects do not register at all and are hard to believe. Screenplay of the movie is pretty weak. The depth and emotion in the scenes is missing from the film completely.
Rajesh Roshan, who has done a pretty good job with the earlier two installments let you down in this film. He fails to make this film gripping.
On the whole, Krrish 3 is a film which will let you down completely because of some very high expectations. Keeping the festive season in mind and the unanimous craze for this franchise, there would be decent box office collections for this film.
