Actor Ranbir Kapoor visits Red Light area
The well-known filmmaker of Jab We Met fame, Imitaz Ali is known to bring his actors out of their comfort zone.
His upcoming movie ‘Rockstar’, brings together Ranbir Kapoor and newcomer Nargis Fakhri alongside the late Shammi Kapoor.
However, source revealed that the film has the scene with Ranbir Kapoor playing the guitar and singing to a fan of sex worker. And the interesting thing is that director Imtiaz Ali would like to shot is at an actual brothel, instead of creating a set and using junior artists.
Talking to media, a source said, “On the day of the shoot, the women were excited to meet Ranbir. Initially, they were also nervous about the shoot. They welcomed the crew and also served them the local breakfast of chai and pav. After a short introductory session and some light hearted conversation, they commenced shooting.”
The source added, "The sex workers were very shy initially. They were reluctant to face the camera. But Imtiaz and Ranbir spent some time talking to them to make them more comfortable. And then they commenced shooting.
