Panaji or Panjim as it was earlier called, is the capital of the small but vibrant state of Goa. Panaji is a tiny city that packs in a large punch. Panaji Residency is one good hotel I can recommend. It is situated in the center of the city & is close to some of the main tourists attractions in the city.

Some major tourist attractions in Panjim (Panaji) are the lady of Immaculate Conception Church, the Church Square, the Goa state museum, the state of Abba Faria, the Jama Masjid, the Hindu Mahalaxmi Temple, Biocholim - Mayem Lake, the central library, the Menezes Braganza Institute, the Chapel of St. Sebastian and the Miramar beach.
Some major activities to do and enjoy in Panjim are Water sports like water rafting, water skiing, yachting and wind surfing. Other activities include Golf, Football, Bullfighting, Trekking and many more. Best time to visit Panjim is September to March
Panjim has developed into a good city. Though, it is having its old charm, there are lots of new malls and buildings coming up.
I have been to Goa three times and i love the place.
