Around the Candolim beach Goa

Candolim beach is located in the northern part of Goa. It is among the popular beaches of the state but is known to be relatively peaceful,compared to the more noisy beaches of north Goa.

There are many things to watch around the Candolim beach. These include –
The Aguada fort
This fort was built in 1612 by the Portuguese & is also a popular shooting spot for Indian movies.

Quincy corner
This is a popular tourist spot known for its musical ambience reminiscent of the Caribbean islands

Activities
Host of Fun activities are on offer at the Candolim beach. These include water sports like Parasailing, water skiing, and boating.

Accommodation
Being a quiet place, there are not too many hotels besides the beach. However, you can find many hotels near the more popular beaches of the area. A lot of inns are available at Candolim that are ideal for the backpackers.

Access
You can get KTC buses from Mapusa. Buses from Panjim ply to Candolim frequently. You can also get local transport like hired motorbikes and taxis for visiting the nearby tourist attractions.
