After confronting humiliation in the recently finished Assembly polls, the Congress headship has taken strong steps to revamp its Punjab division.
One such action taken by the party high command is the upgradation of Abohar MLA Sunil Jakhar as its legislature party head.
Sunil is the son of veteran Congress head Balram Jakhar, who also functioned as the Leader of Opposition in Punjab almost 35 years ago when Badal turned the CM in the year 1977.
