The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Bhopal division has registered a turnover of around Rs 4,780 crore during the last fiscal year.
Mr. SS Gupta, executive director, BHEL Bhopal, stated that the division's profit before tax (PBT) surged 15% to Rs 801 crore in the financial 2011-12 as against Rs 696 crore the previous year.
The division's turnover climbed 19% at Rs 4,778 crore as against Rs 4,208 crore the previous year.
On online attendance for factory workers, Gupta stated that attempts were on to make trade unions meet the terms, which are complaining against the method.
Gupta added that the BHEL had recorded an increase of 19% on the export front as against the previous year and the exports income stood at Rs 1,637 crore.
He congratulated the staff for aiding the PSU attain excellence on all performance strictures and valued their efforts and promise.
Announcing a turnover objective of Rs 6,003 crore for the existing financial, he stated that viewing the prospects in the power segment, the objective for 2012-13 was unquestionably a challenging task.

He also highlighted the recruitments made in the recent past and managements' attempts to offer the staff better facilities.
While talking about the corporate social responsibility (CSR) plans adopted in the division, he stated that under this, a special funding of Rs 50 lakh has been approved for the administration college in the township.
