Vicky Donor: Music Review!
"Vicky Donor" is a first for many - it not only marks John's foray into production, it is well known VJ Ayushmann Khurrana's first firlm as well and Abhishek-Akshay also begin their ride as music director with the film.
The pair impress with the simplicity in the album.
Donn-Bann, Rochak Kohli and Ayushmann also have contributed in the film's music. The songs are backed by lyrics from five different lyrists, who have done a honest job.
Opening song "Rokda" has normal lyrics, but the attractive tunes and musician Akshay Verma's voice make it worth to hear.
The next song is "Kho jaane de", which is a soft romantic song with a pleasant composition.
It is "Rum Whiskey" is also interesting song of the film.
"Paani da rang" comes as a great surprise with Ayushmann, who appears to have earned a fair bit of experience by hosting music shows, singing it.
What accompanies is love ballad "Mar jayian".
It also has a sad version too.
Last but certainly not the least is "Chaddha" where Mika delivers the perfect ending track.
In general, "Vicky Donor" is a good attempt and the coming together of different artists makes it worth a listen.

Vicky Donor conveys a serious message without sermonising, which is why we thought it would be perfectly apt to label VD as a light-hearted commercial satire that conveys a message in a subtle manner by lacing a random concept like sperm donation with a humorous treatment and copious amounts of hard-hitting punches and one-liners.
