Brent crude slipped 11 cents to $114.07 a barrel at 0301 GMT, after dropping to $113.91 earlier in the session.

MCX CRUDEOIL Technical Trend

Crude oil last week showed choppy movements. On daily charts it moves in an upward channel pattern broke strong support of lower band of channel but gave closing around it. On higher level it also gave false breakout of resistance level of 5425. Now if it give closing above 5440 than we expect it may touch upper band of channel.

Strategy

Better strategy in MCX CRUDEOIL is to buy above 5440, for the targets of 5600. With stop loss of 5250.

We still expect more bearishness in it towards level of 4750 where it may find support of trendline and if it break this support then next support is seen around 4500. Above 4905 some correction is expected towards level of 5000.
